I'm looking at a 1987 190D 2.5 N/A 5-speed for sale in central NJ. I'm in central OH, so about 500 miles away, and therefor can't do any pre-purchase inspection myself. Are any of you trust worthy diesel experts located in this area and willing to inspect the car yourself, or take it to a reputable shop? I know the A/C will need diagnosed. A Mercedes-Benz Club member in NJ suggested looking into these shops. Are you guys familiar with any of them?

Cappas is a good shop they were right down the street from the dealer and they outsource the older 90s and 80s MBs to them.
