Banjo bolt sealing rings?
1991 350SD om603. Installing new tecalan fuel lines. Now I need to know where to get the banjo bolt sealing rings. My Mercedes dealer of choice say the are NLA. Is there an alternative.
Thanks, Kris |
Pelicanparts has sealing rings listed by size both aluminum and copper
Take your pick Just need measurements |
Any big box auto parts store has a metric assortment in copper or aluminum.

I have several copper washer assortments from Harbor Freight, grabbed when on-sale. I throw spare aluminum washers in there too. I never worry about re-using them. If scuffed, I just sand the surface, though some here claim you must heat-treat them to restore. Mine don't leak.

This is the best place on the net to get anything you need in metric! I get all my supplies from them, plus they know Mercedes and Unimogs as they are owners as well!
https://www.belmetric.com/ Tell them Von sent you, and you might get a discount! |
When I rebuilt the engine on my 650 Triumph, I remember that you were supposed to heat the copper washers on the stove until they got red hot before installing them again. Never really knew why. Was it called annealing?
