I'm looking to use the Beru GE/GN series glow plugs to take advantage of the post start "afterglow" function. I've done the "blue wire" modification at the relay to support post start glow.

Peach doesn't seem to stock Beru. Other online catalogues all ID the older GV series glow plugs that only glow during the initial start cycle. However there are listings for the GE/GN series plugs for the '90 - '91 SDL.

I'm thinking the ('90-'91SDL) GE/GN versions should fit.

Or is my #14 head vs. a later version i.e. '90 #17, #20 an issue i.e. plug dimensions.

The later head with oblique injection use a shorter plug. Use the original plugs, they should hold up fine with your modification for after-glow.

14 headed car with 17+ afterglow here, plugs last quite a while. I have plain old Bosch in mine. I cannot give you a life span, but they live a while.

Someone posted this pic a long time ago. To the best of my Knowlege these are Bosch numgers in the picture and the shorter plug was indicated in the thread as being for the afterglow setup.
