My W211 SBC Actuation Count
For those who are interested in such things....468,285.
For whatever reason, that was the first thing I was curious about when I hooked up my Xentry. So I'm guessing I'll get my warning at around 200k miles, at the rate I'm going. I think that the threshold is 600,000. |
Great find. I will have to get me one & find out where I stand. I have 97k and I live in urban area and would likely have lot less life left on mine.

Based on how I've driven over the last 5500 miles, it looks like I have about 30,000 actuations every 10,000 miles. So hopefully I'll easily make it past 200k miles before having the SBC pump rebuilt.

Update 5 years later. 537,000 actuations at 184,000 miles. So, on average, I press the pedal three times every mile. Hope to get to 600k before needing warranty work.
|
Now up to 551,000 actuations and no codes at 188k miles.
Interestingly, my other CDI has only 362,000 actuations at 161k miles. So I'm guessing I have a LOOOONNNNGGG ways to go before needing to replace the pump and/or accumulator....probably after the extended warranty expires, unfortunately. |
