Ive had worse cases but not one as sneaky ,the trunks always seem to develop fast especially around the qrts. Its taken shape along the taillight panel and the trunk gasket area.This might call for a larger panel replacement from my donor car.Im still hunting and hope to treat the car as an older survivor now instead of just a beater car.This is a warning to all those older car owners that have noticed a few spots rising under the paint , if you just descale the area and treat the metal its much easier than panel replacing . 1983 300cd trusty and always dusty .500k plus

Let's see pics at 500K plus. My '99 E300 with 435K has some small rust issues around the driver side rocker and the left rear quarter that I'll get to eventually. It's just surface rust as far as I can see, poking at it with a screwdriver tells you a lot...
