83 240D Mystery Connector
Hello all!
I have an 83 240D that I was working on today when I found a mystery connector. It appeared to be just hanging there when the passenger under dash panel was removed. It does NOT have power going to it while ignition is on or the car is running. It appears to "end" where pictured and is coming from somewhere below the ashtray/lower center console as I could see the other end move while I had the ashtray assembly removed. Any thoughts? Google and searches have been empty so far. Last edited by Haggurd; 07-02-2017 at 11:02 PM. Reason: Someday I will learn to proofread or spell. |

Part of an old accessory mobile phone or 2-way radio. Didn't come from the factory.

Sixto...thank you. You just jarred a memory. I used to think the fact that my grandpa had a phone in his car was so cool. This was certainly the antenna connection.
