Battery and two brake warning lights on

I haven't driven my '83 300d, in two weeks, because it was trapped in my garage by a car getting repaired in the driveway. Today I started her up and the battery light and both brake warning lights are on.

I pulled out of the garage and I could feel some sort of pull on the drivers side front tire.

The parking break is not engaged and the brake fluid is full. I pushed both reset buttons on the reservoir.

I don't understand if it's a break problem, why the battery light would be on.

Reset buttons on the brake reservoir?? I believe you may be talking about the two pressure vents covered by rubber caps.

I'm suspecting you have an alternator problem. Have you tried revving the engine to get the battery light to extinguish? Is the battery light on with the key off?

A voltmeter across the battery, while the car is running, will tell you the status of the alternator. Check in both DC Volts and AC Volts. DC (>13VDC and less than 16VDC) AC (<100mVAC).
