Call Phil at PartsShop and give him the info. on the car and type of sunroof (sliding vs. sliding/tilting) and he can usually take it from there. He helped me. The sliding tilting angle brackets are not for someone who hasn't done something similar before.

I've been there...last winter my sunroof gave up on me. I had none experience from sunroofs and this is my first mb. But I did a search on sunroofs on this forum. Basically, all the info you need can be found here.
My car was an W201 with slide and tilt roof. Both angle brackets were crushed into A LOT of VERY SMALL pieces. I had to change both angles with all rubber pieces. The old ones were rather ugly looking. The sunroof in the w201 is the same as W124. I noticed the numbers and a got a print from daimler benz part cds. From this one you can tell the mb-partdealer the short numbers because they use exactly the same cd (with the same pic ). This is in Finland but I cannot believe there would be any other copies among dealers anywhere in the world Anyway I've got them in my computer at home. I am able to access them this weekend. Let me know...if you got any questions on the assembly I'll try to help. But I am not a trained technician, just another benz owner. It wasn't really that hard but it requires patience...
