W123 Euro Bumpers

There's a set of W123 euro bumpers on a car in a Pick-N-Pull yard near me. It's the Pick-N-Pull in Stockton, CA. I can grab them for somebody if they want them or you guys go get them. I just don't want to see them get crushed. They were there on 09/15. They charge about $50 for each bumper.

You should get them regardless of cost, you can probably sell them for three times your cost. Don't forget to get all the hardware......Rich

Youll need access to the trunk for the rear I believe , the side rubbers . Its the yard that will neglect to open a trunk that becomes the defining problem as these parts are sent along with the car to the can crusher ,the last identifable piece to let you know this hunk of sq steel use to be a car.If its a mercedes I believe the hood star wood still be up and saluting.

My girlfriend and I are looking for a set for her Euro 300d which someone had put USA bumpers on. We are located in Grass valley which is about an hour 30 from Stockton. But I am in Los Angeles right now for work, maybe someone could pull them for us and ship? Or BenzEnthusiast, maybe you could pull them and I could pick them up sometime soon? We would gladly pay. Let me know, thanks.

Hey I sent you a pm, not sure if it went through though. Why don't you pm me your phone number. My girlfriend could come pick them up today if that works with you. She would come down in her white W123 with a friend, any idea if these would fit in the trunk to transport or the back seat? Thanks

The front bumper has been hit at some point and has a small amount of damage near the top center. The bracket can be bent back and it will fit the the car nicely. Also, the stud that holds the passenger side front rubber piece to the car broke off when I was unbolting it.

They have both been federalized, so they have a metal bar mounted to the back instead of the traditional rubber or shock absorber mounts. I have all of the hardware.

Good work. I pulled a rear U.S. bumper off a W123 a few weeks ago at PickNPull Rocklin on 1/2 off day, and recall the Stockton listing (but no photo). My 1985 has a cracked bumper (dang aluminum). I know people love the Euro bumpers, but they look wimpy to me and I prefer the U.S. shock absorbers. To each his own.

I ended up having my girlfriend's uncle pick them up. We are going to put them on her 300d Euro when I get back into town. Thank you Ed for getting them for us.

Why do you all call them Euro bumpers when they were used worldwide except North America.... (nitpicking mode)

Should we start using "North American" and "World" when describing styles of bumpers and headlights?
