Sunroof question.
W124 87 300d. Sunroof is stuck open in the titled position. Won't go back and forth or up and down. Took out the switch and tested the connector. It has like 11.93 volts in the one pin. That seems ok. So I'm guessing that means the switch is beat???

Check if the raising brackets are not broken, this is fairly common at this age.
It might be a good idea to carry out a routine service, lubing all the bits especially the long cable.

Does the motor even attempt to operate? Before condemning the switch, get a helper to operate the switch while you probe the connections at the motor. If you're getting power there, the motor has possibly failed or has a blown fuse or wiring fault somewhere.
