Bad Diesel - a fragrance

This shows up in my mailbox in one of the department store catalogs...

I'm the kind of mistake you'd love to make...

The tag line inside is even more precious

"DIESEL BAD is the first scent of its kind to combine addictive accords of tobacco and the seductive aphrodisiac caviar. This intoxicating blend pulsates with a fresh rush of citrus notes and woody cold spices, attracting anyone in its path."

Ususally when I smell like diesel, motor oil, hydraulic fluid, and coolant my wife tells me to stay back and hit the shower.

My girlfriend bought me some cologne that is that stuff. It smells pretty good. She doesn't tell me to shower after I put on in like when I come home from work so it must be good.

It's all in the pronunciation I believe.

"What are you wearing?". "Eau de diesel, my dear".

As opposed to when your wife asks you what you were working on in the shop and then answers her own question with a wrinkle of her nose, "Oh, the diesel".

Ahh, nothing like the smell of old cigarette butts, fish eggs, orange juice and moldy wood to get her interested.

Pretty much describes how I smell after a week-end fishing trip. Don't recall the wife fawning all over me when I come home from one of them.
