87 300TD Vaccum Issues

Hello everyone, new here and just purchased a 1987 300TD Wagon with 123,000 miles and the OM603 turbo engine. The car is in pretty good shape, I believe I have some vacuum issues as it started shifting hard and the car will try to shut off with the key but will barely stay running, so I have to hit the manual shutoff.

Does anybody have a diagram or routing path for vacuum lines on this particular vehicle?

Thanks.

I'm only familiar with the 617 but found this thread which has a general diagram.

There are a few tools you'll be acquiring as you own this car. The very first should be a Mityvac, or similar hand held vacuum pump. This will make tracing the vacuum system easier. The vacuum pump is on the left front of the motor. There are two fittings...a big one for the brakes, and a small one for everything else. The way you track problems down is to first check that you have good vacuum at the pump, then check every Y on the small branch with your vacuum gauge. You really don't need a diagram for this.

When I buy a new to me diesel, the first thing I do is replace every single vacuum hose and Y (not the hard plastic, just the rubber). They all will fail in time, so if one goes, you know the rest won't be far behind. A small investment of time and money will save you endless frustration.

I think part of my problem was when I was messing around with it the other day I pulled the washer fluid tank out and didn't put them all back correctly or broke a line. It's hard for me to tell from the diagrams what goes where.

I think I fixed it at least for now, it's shifting much better and holding 18hg at the throttle cutoff. I have attached pics of everything, as well as one of the car for anyone interested.
