Vacuum line diagrams

Where can I find a diagram showing where the various vacuum lines under the hood go to. I accidently disconnected some of them while checking the Turbo switchover valve. I think everything is hooked up right. At least the engine cuts off when I shut off the switch and the door locks seem to work. I have the service manual on CD but it is real skimpy on the Vacuum system. BTW I have a 83 300 turbo 123.133 model Thanks in advance for any advice
Russ

MVK,
Could I impose and ask that you send me a copy as well?
I have an 81 300TDT.

Thanks in advance!

The absolute BEST manual for this car is the "Electrical Troubleshooting Manual" for models 300D/CD/TD, model years 1983-1985. It is available by calling the 800 Mercedes number. Don't remember the cost but by far the best manual for the schematics, tubing connections, etc... for this car.
Oh yea - it is not a CD - it is a real manual .

MVK,

Could you also kindly send me the same diagrams. I have the same vehicle as Russ: 1983 300 Turbo.

Thanks,

Whoooooooooa Nilly!

I called the 1.800 # and they told me that they cannot send me a printed manual anymore, and they absolutely will not send outtakes from the CD. But, of course, they would be Happy to send me the CD...for $100!!!!
No thanks. I'll take my chances and mess around a little more...

hmmmmmmm - wonder if they ran out of the print copies. I purchased mine within the past 12 months. If I remember correctly it was about $25-$30.

I was transferred around there and they all said that they absolutely cannot send out individual pages from the CDs, and they "do not make or have access to the printed manuals..."

Bummer.

Maybe you sound nicer than me on the phone?

When I bought mine about four years ago the ETM's were $15.... worth ten times that much when you need that info...

They make a lot more money on that cd than they do the manuals ... wonder if that effected their decision ? Do you guys that use the cd just print out the pages you need to take to the car ?

The number for your car should be S-1243-123 in case you find it on ebay or something....I do not see "300cd" listed on this little chart... this number is for 1983-1985 300D/TD.

Besides Ebay you could check in Hemmings Motor News under literature ..... Greg
