2009 E320 Bluetec lighting question

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn the headlights OFF while the car is parked and idling at night? I checked the 450 page owner's manual and it doesn't indicate if it's even possible. I want the car running with all exterior lights off. Missing my 95 E300d these days.

Nice upgrade! Yes, you just need to disable the DRL function.

Thanks MB FanAddict. I'll check it out. Hopefully I won't need a $30,000 computer and night classes to figure it out. Ha!

Some cars have DRL switched with the park brake. Not yours?

It’s a choice in the cluster menu on our 2008 W164 which shares many systems with the W211.
