Doing some research for a friend here. His mom has a really nice '98 E300TD with about 140,000 miles on it. Always dealer maintained and just had glow plugs replaced. I've seen the car - it is really clean. no pix yet but looks like very minimal rust. She has no idea of how much to sell it for. I think she could easily get $3-4K for it?

Thoughts? BTW the car is in South East Connecticut.

I think you've pegged it about right. If it's as you describe, I might list for $4500 and hope to get $4000. The minimal rust and dealer maintenance history would be good selling points.
