240D a/c removal

The a/c in my 1981 240D hasn't been used for at least 25 years. I don't plan on getting the a/c back up in working order. Too expensive. Can I/how do I remove all or nearly all of the a/c components from under the hood? Want to free up space and get rid of what I won't use.

1. Un bolt pull out.
2. tape any open hoses to prevent varmints getting inside and tape off any bare wires.
3. Open german beer and enjoy.

I've thought about doing this myself. However the oil lines attach to the A/C compressor bracket so not sure how to remove all that without creating a problem for the lines.

Remove the condenser and auxiliary fan. At least I think AC is the only trigger for the auxiliary fan. Then give the radiator fins a gentle cleaning.

Usually not too expensive to fix. I bought a new R-4 compressor for $80 on ebay in the winter. But, if you live where AC isn't a great benefit, you can strip it. Ask specific questions w/ photos if you run into problems. No magical answers needed that I can think of.
