Heater only blowing cold air

84 300 turbo diesel. Ac blows ice cold but heater doesn't blow hot. Checked mono valve and it is good. Any other ideas? Could it be the climate control?

Could you describe the "check?"

What happens if you disconnect the monovalve harness and drive?
