I think Skid Joe meant W140 is never been 350 SDL, I think w140 never made a long chassis unless for limousine.
But all of you are right W126 has 300SD, 300SDL, 350SD and 350SDL.

I saw one of those here recently. A Vietnamese guy runs a garage I get smogged at sometimes. I gather that MB diesels are way common in Vietnam. Mechanics who train there have some tricks. Owns 4 w126s I gather. He's big on the 3.5 motor. Who knows, I've read they perform well at times.

Deisel is the "German" secret language.
And still it's not 350 SDL. As I said I think W140 didn't have long base for the diesel engines at least.
