Using a rear flex disc on the front
I ordered a rear flex disc by accident needing a front for my w124. Can you use a rear disc on the front?

Are they not the same? The 126 uses same front and rear.

Thanks guys for the fast responses. I didn't think they were different. Just double checking. Been awhile since I did them and didn't remember them visually.

Just look up the flex discs as parts. If the front and rear have the same part number then of course they are the same.

The front "soft disc" only softens the downshift when slowing down. Its actually better to use the rear disc on front as it wont wear out the shock softening bosses in it which cause that stupid rattle.
