300D NA vs 300D Turbo rear driveshaft length

Does anyone know if the 300D Turbo rear driveshaft section is the same length as the 300D naturally aspirated rear driveshaft section?

I would think this matters on which transmission is in the car and not the engine, as that would be the real difference between the two. The driveshaft is two pieces so you'd really need to know the length of the front part of the shaft is as I don't believe the mounting points change for the carrier bearing on any of the sedans. The front shaft I have sitting in my garage is 15 and 3/8 inches long. It is from an 85 300D (turbo).

The rear drive shaft is the same on all W123s unless it is a limo, and there are not many of those around and that includes the gas engine models also.

All W123 sedans share a common wheelbase; the coupe is shorter, special vehicles longer.
Hence all sedan rear driveshafts are the same length.

I installed a NA 1981 300d driveshaft into my 1984 Turbo with no issues. The NA driveshaft has a wider rear section but the length is exactly the same. It doesn't effect the fit at all.

I wonder if the length of a 722.1 (as found on a 78 300D( with no Bowden cable or vacuum hookup)) would be the same as 722.3 (later turbo 300d)

There is a difference on the w201/124 when comparing 722.3 (tougher, larger and longer) than 722.4(which is smaller requiring a shorter driveshaft with smaller rubber driveshaft joints).

Maybe not?
