This Looks Important! What is it?
So I'm finally installing my Euro headlights. Behold, laying loose behind the passenger headlight, I found this connector. Is this the unused plug for the headlight wipers... or is it important?

Does your car have the metal airflow box in the intake line under the air filter? That looks EXACTLY like the plug that goes to it.

That's exactly what it is. I bet you have a cone filter. Otherwise, just plug it back into the airbox.

Crikey! I've got the standard square filter box and this has been unplugged for who only knows how long!

The only thing it would affect is the EGR curve. It feeds airflow readings and air temp to the EDS computer.

Cleaned it off and plugged it back in. I can't tell any difference other than the low speed / low rpm hard shifting has settled down considerably.
