95 E300D, What is the firing/ignition sequence for the cylinders?

Probably wording my searches wrong, but didn't find the sequential order.

Does anyone know what it is?

For the inline six OM 606.910 that should be in a 1995 W124 E300D,
the firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4.

Maybe the OP doesn’t have one of the special Zundfolge engines . When MB valve covers were more functional than decorative, the firing order was embossed following the word Zundfolge (firing order). I recall an eBay or Craigslist ad in which the seller touted a car with a special Zundfolge engine!

I’m curious why the OP needs to know the firing order of a Diesel with hydraulic lash adjusters. Seems like the first time I see the question on any Diesel forum.

Here's the beauty part. It's 153624 counting from the front. Counting from the back, it's 153624. So it's the same on a Jaguar XK (back to front) as on a Chevy stovebolt (front to back). Gotta luv inline 6's.
