OM602 2.5 Turbo harmonic balancer tool
Does anyone know where I can get the tool that holds the harmonic balancer in place while removing the crank pulley bolt? I've found some that say they are for the gas burners but haven't found any for the OM602. I thought about making one, but given the torque necessary on that bolt I didn't want to risk tearing something up if a weld broke

The tool is called a flywheel lock tool, here's one and it looks like there are more than one source.
\\https://www.amazon.com/Mercedes-Benz-Flywheel-Locking-Tool/dp/B0089PY4 This one fits into the opening below the torque converter in the oil pan. 602-0040 FLYWHEEL LOCK [602-0040] : Baum Tools Specialty Auto Tools, Specialty European Auto Tools This one goes in place of the starter The OM601/2/3/6 family of engines use the same tool as the M102/3/4 and other gas engines as the flywheel and oil pan dimensions are very similar on all of them. |

x2. There’s no factory tool to hold the damper to loosen the center bolt.
