"Try to start the engine with the glow plug harness disconnected from the relay. If the engine starts within a couple of cranks and there's only an initial puff of whitish gray smoke that smells like charcoal lighter fluid, and the idle is smooth and even, compression shouldn't be a problem."
Sixto said this was an easy way to check the compression as well as "thumb over the breather" method. Being a novice, and not having a hayne's manual yet, do you guys have any pics of where the location of both of these are for easy and quick reference at the auction site? Thanks

Sorry for all these questions.
