Fair Price For W123 Light Alloy Wheels

I have a set of four 123 400 1302 5 1/2J x 14 H2 wheels with a set of special length wheel bolts and special plastic coated hub cap clips that I want to list on Craigslist.

What do you think I should ask for them.

Subscribed .

I'm sure it matters where you're at geographically, you didnt include this info .

I bought a set already and am curious to the price, it'll also make a difference on how they look, you need to post pictures, good ones .

the 5.5's are fairly cheap.

it's the 6" wheels that are the hard to find set.

if the white ring is unbroken, you have 6" if it's broken like the listed pics, yeah... $50?

they REALLY wake up a 240D though. worth it to install them over the bunts...

I have been able to sell the 5.5 light alloy wheels for at least $50 each. You have the bolts and clips, so that makes the set worth more. I would say you could start at $300(ish) for the lot and go from there.......Rich

Yes, the 6" wide ones gather a bunch more than the 5.5. $100 each is not all that hard to get.

A tip :

Don't be lazy and try to get full pop without making any effort to clean them before taking the pictures for the advert .

Folks tend to take offense at that .

The nice fellow who sold me my set said ' they're nasty and not show worthy so I'll give you a price break ' ~ he did, I spent some time dong the cleanup and installing new valve stems and so on, I'm well pleased , the guy in S.F. needs to get a clue and not be so greedy / lazy .

When I ran a junkyard in the 1970's I sold parts fast, I often ran out of stock unlike most junkyards that sit on over priced junk they paid close to nothing for then crush it all for $crap value every so often and are always angrily blaming the Customer when it's their own greed and sloth that prevents them from selling .
