'93 300Sd - Windsor, Ca Pick-N-Pull

Anyone live close to the Windsor, Ca Pick-N-Pull. They have a W140 300SD that has been there a month. Has anyone seen it? I'm considering going up there but it is a looong drive - I couldn't get to it earlier, too much work.

thnx,
Bill

I made a post about it 2 weeks ago. It has #18 head. I pulled the turbo, exhaust manifold and all the related components to install in my 87. Turbo had an 06 remanufacture date. All it needed was cleaning out the soot accumulation. Head was still there when I saw it. I'm in SoCal so going back is not an option. I was visiting family in Marin when I noticed it on row52.

I missed your previous post. I am after the injector holders, computer box with electronics and wiring harness. You got two of the others I was after.

Also anything else I can grab like the PSE pump- was the backseat pulled up? Was the car pretty stripped when you saw it??

I was working 70 hours a week when it showed up there .. I knew I had waited too long, I should have taken a couple sick days. I'll probably make the trip anyway It'll be a nice drive if I can stay out of traffic.

Thanks for answering - I thought it was a longshot. I really wanted confirmation it was there, it doesn't show up on Pick-n-Pull's search as a W140 and when I called the yard they couldn't find it at first then mentioned it was a 300D.

The injectors were gone, injection pump was gone, fuel lines were cut all before I got to it. I tried to check the mileage but instrument cluster was gone as well. Other than that the rest of the engine bay was intact. I didn't pay too much attention to the interior or electronics but it seemed mostly intact. There's not much demand for w140 parts. This was 2 weeks ago.
