1987 W201 190D Tempmatic A/C operation question
With my model 190D, with my climate control unit, it has a "Dehumidify" button on the far top right. Its above the A/C button.
My question is for some reason I have much more cold air and compressor on time with the Dehumidify button over just using the A/C button. To make matters more odd, the car manual states that either button can be used for cooling. I really is such a strange system!

When you select dehumidify, the compressor runs on every setting, including heat. I use it on misty days to keep the windows from fogging.

Why would it work 10 times better with that setting instead of just the A/C button?? ( In my case )
