my 91 560sel on the road finally

after selling my 91 350sdl, i was feeling terrible as most do after selling their 126. longest i ve ever owned a car.

so i stumbled across a local 560sel, only 81,xxx miles or so. strong 8 of 10 interior and exterior wise.

the sorting out has taken a long road.

work done, all with MB parts,

brakes all around, wires, plugs, cap, rotor, rear sub frame mounts, front shocks, rear shocks, accumulators, all new suspension hydraulic lines, new level control.

wow, what a difference in the performance and ride quality.

now for some new wheels and tires.

i ll try and get a picture or 2 posted soon.

That is the reason I have (mostly) stuck with Diesels. It never goes well for me when I get a gasser, they have proven problematic every time. However, my most recent purchase (2004 W211 wagon) has been running great. Even though I did have some issues at first (wouldn't pass smog), I managed to get it sorted out. Eventually it will get a CDI transplant anyway, so until then, I will just have to pay more attention at the gas pump (used to pumping Diesel).

my 350sdl was easier to work on, no mysterious fuel delivery system.
