Identify this part?

Hey guys. There's a thing I'm guessing is some sort of solenoid for the EGR valve that has a vacuum stem deal broken off of it. There's a picture below (circled in red). It looks like it has 3 vacuum ports on the top (one of which is broken) and one on the bottom. The blue vacuum line runs around to the front of the motor and connects to 3 other things. Is that "leg" of the vacuum being broken going to cause a vacuum leak, or is this something that's sealed off? My locks work, engine shuts off normally, etc. so I'm guessing it's ok. Should I clog the broken hole up with some hot glue or some such just in case? If the entire thing can be removed (and some associated vacuum lines removed) I'd like to do that just to make the vacuum system less complex.

That's a vacuum transducer, usually used for the EGR valve or the ARV. The nipple that's broken off is the atmospheric vent, probably why you have no operational issues. The original connection had a filter and a tube running into the driver's footwell.

Ah ok cool. If it's just a vent then I'll leave it be. I didn't even notice part of that thing was broken until I started working on the battery tray area.
