How to tell if you have ATE or Perrot calipers on old MB T1?
Hello!
I'm going to buy a repair kit for my calipers since the rubber is wearing out and I might as well replace the cylinders when I'm at it. When contacting the sellers they say I need to know if it's ATE or Perrot. I can for my life not find any information on how to tell them apart online and no one I've asked knows, so I have to turn to Peachparts forum. If anyone have any information on this I'd be very thankful and it'd be good if the information was accessible somewhere online and searchable anyway :) I have an old MB 307D from -77 and here are some pictures of one of the calipers: https://imgur.com/gallery/hhr7Gd5/comment/1425426117 Some additional information, not translated but I think the essentials are understandable: MERCEDES-BENZ T1 Flak / chassi (602) 307 D 2,4 1977 65Hk Cylindrar: 4 Cylindervolym: 2399 Fordonsår: 1977 Chassinr: 60236218009976 Motorkod: OM616.917 Motoreffekt kW: 48 |
The only way to be 100% sure is to pull the wheel and look at the caliper. ATE has a habit of casting their brand on anything they make.
