just got a sweet little ride. looks like someone took the a/c out of it at some point. its hot where i live so i want to put one back in. any resources for doing this would be much appreciated. do you think i should buy an aftermarket unit or try to salvage one from another car?
cheers!

We need pictures of your engine bay and interior to work further on this one. Your car was sold stock with the dreaded Chrysler servo system, getting it working 100% will be a challenge.

It will almost certainly be easier to get a stock system running than to find an aftermarket one for a 30+ year old car.

When you say "someone took the a/c out of it at some point." do you mean the entire A/C system, or just some of the components (compressor, condenser etc)? If everything is gone, it would be best to start over with new hoses, compressor, drier and condenser. Even if the compressor is gone, I still would suggest a complete system upgrade (replace everything except the evaporator and the liquid line). A Sanden retrofit would be my first choice and suggestion......Rich
