The 350SDL deal
I have a 1990 350SDL with a newer engine and head with barely 60K on them.
I am now seriously out of room, having filled close to 28,000 cubic feet with cars and parts. The 350SDL has got to go. It needs a battery and a little bit of TLC to work. I stored it inside after driving it happily for about 3 years. Now I have moved it out for this year and I fear that weather and neglect will hurt it so I want to sell it for cheap to a good home Yes -- a 126 with a 3.5L engine with the NEW head on it I bought it from benhogan some years ago, and only took it on cruises after fixing a few minor things that did not prevent a maiden voyage of 900 miles. I needs a new radio, one seat is worn and the AC needs attention. It handles marvelously and moves like a rocket when you drive it. But I now have 27 cars and trucks. The herd must be thinned. I am keeping a couple 123s, one 126 one 107 and a 220 project car-- Groucho's 220 from 1952 Plus I have Citroens, Borgwards, Volvos and VW 181s. I am forced by circumstances to do this. Yes, clean title. NO rust on the body . Paint oxidation. Champagne brown, some wear on interior. 750.00 cash and you tow it away. No payment plans. Ah, jeeze ;
Always wait until too late then they get junked . I may be coming up on this with a couple old worthless LBC's, bummer . I hope you're able to find a buyer for everything . I had and enjoyed greatly a VW 'Safari' (Typ 181) in the late 1970's .
