1999 E300D Fuel leak at injection pump
Hi, I have a fuel leak at the top of the injection pump at the bottom side of the fitting that one if the steel injection lines goes to. The piece is like a flange that bolts on to the top of the pump allowing connectivity for the fuel line. It is coming from the area where the flange meets the flat surface of the pump.
Is there an o ring used to seal this?.. Also, it appears that a special tool is required to remove the flange. Any advice or experience with repairing this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you |

https://importecautoparts.com Shane sells from SSF Autoparts, a wholesaler like WorldPac. SSF is has a way larger OEM stock, and Importec's pricing is best I've found. PS, you'll need the spline socket for removing and installing the covers on the delivery valves, and a flare nut wrench is really helpful for the fuel lines PSS, if you do any work at all yourself, a EPC annual subscription pays for itself in a pair of seconds. Having the exact part number based on your VIN without going to the dealer at the tip of your fingers makes owning and repairing your own Benz infinitely easier.
