Could I use a 4 or 10 ton hydraulic pump to make an injector tester?
Here's the ten ton version (four ton versions are available). I would think adding a pressure gauge to either wouldn't be a problem. Your thoughts or ideas are appreciated....

I'm thinking a 4 ton hydraulic pump would be more than enough for both unfreezing brake caliper pistons and injector pressure testing.....

In hydraulics, F= pressure x piston area, so pressure = force/area
If you estimate piston area from the diameter, that and rated load will tell you the approximate rated pressure.

The description for the 10 ton ram you linked to says

There is at least one thread on this site for pop testers made with hydraulic rams instead of a bottle jack - http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/346142-electronic-pop-tester-cheap.html
