Need a sheepskin for drivers seat

'81 300SD. Anyone got a cheap or used sheepskin for the driver's seat? I need one just for the one seat. Sorry I let mine go on the Land Rover; could have used them probably.

I have the normal palomino interior and everything except ye olde driver's seat is like new. Have had the seat out before fixing the motor and do not want to go through that again.

Thought I would just put a natural color sheepskin over the seat and call it a day. I had both seats on the Land Rover covered with sheepskins and really liked it. Sorry I sold it and let those things go.

Hope you had a good Christmas.

I have a couple w126 leather passenger seat skins but they are gray. One is of the Gen I and the second from Gen II. They are gray.

Thanks for that. They are pretty expensive at $750 for a pair even if all sheepskins were not temporarily discontinued.

I have found a couple of other websites with a single seat for about $150 but do not want to spend that much either.

Will keep looking.

Thought maybe someone had a used one that he no longer needed.

I don't know. I'm not pricing them until after I've finished my project car. I took football season off, go figure.

I will price them fairly and you will get the first shot at buying them if and when I decide to sell them. BTW, these are a extra fine set of original Rosen Leather skins for the gen 1 w126. I also have very good seat springs which I will also sell if I do not need them.

I haven't torn the new set down to evaluate more than function and looks.

I have leather palomino late W126 seatback skins I can remove from the seatbacks I have in storage.

I saved these when I installed the spring boxes into 'Desert Rose'.
I tried to convert one to manual operation for installation into 'Desert Rose' but the resulting seatback angle was not to my liking.

Send me a PM.

Thanks but not a match. I have MB-tex instead of leather.

Still looking for a decent sheepskin for one seat only.

Why cover your seat???

If the original material is ripped, dirty or faded, etc., why spend money putting sheepskin over it??? Go buy some new material and have the seat recovered. Your problem will be solved for the next 30 years.

Not what I want to do at this point. Not sure you can buy palomino MB-tex or that it would match.
