What the hell are you checking?

See if the battery even has enough ass to spin the engine over. Fully charged is about 12.5V or higher You want an H8 or Group 49, big bastard.

An old starter makes it more difficult to start in the winter. **** rebuilt units do not last long and are barely able to spin you over in the winter.

Sorry im checking the glow plug relay the connector with the holes in it to each glowplug. And the pins on the glowplug relay. There is no voltage in any of the holes but the pins are showing voltage. Ive checked relay fuse voltage on both sides of fuse all good there. And theres power going to the relay.

It's traditional to keep one thread about a particular issue. It helps others to keep up with what you've done and may help in assisting you further with your problem.

I suggest you go and find your original post and comment on your progress. In fact, I'm sure the help you get will better serve to solved your problem(s).

Exclamation Basic Glow Plug Check

The holes in the glow plug connector need to be checked against the engine's ground with the multi-meter set to ohms .

Some one here will know how many ohms, each one must have the same resistance ~ any that are open circuit are bad .

? How long ago did you or someone, adjust the valves ? .

These two things (assuming a good starter and battery) are the primary items to get it started .

Test and report back .

I got him all squared away on the phone. Fresh set of Bosch GPs, started the car up. Trying to talk him into a valve lash and new starter too.

Battery cables look decent, def could use a serious cleaning, but still look good.
