How do I take out the dash vents?
I have been changing out the regular bulbs for new LED ones on my dash. My car does not have a glove box. I know they have an allen wrench type thing to the right of the center of a vent. I've loosened that but it doesn't seem to fully loosen to where it disengages from the part it's screwed into; maybe the vent has to be pulled out some for that to happen.
The vents seem to be in pretty tight in the dash and I don't want to bust any of them. I'd rather leave the old dim bulbs in than risk breaking a plastic vent. Any tips or tricks? 1991 300d 220k |
