My board is different than the one pictured earlier, but it operates the same. A noticeable difference is mine has an adjustable function. I didn't turn it so I don't know exactly what it does, maybe it adjusts the seatbelt warning duration, seeing as mine is intolerably long.

Amazing. Any tips on uploading/deleting from the drive? Or just keep going until it works?

Ordered. We're already brainstorming ideas. We could rickroll ourselves?

How will you know you’re in an old MB without the buzzer.

So, I received it and deleting/uploading was no problem. But, when I test it across 12v (on my battery) I'm not getting any sound. Assuming this thing isn't DOA, maybe the file type is incorrect.. What file type did you use? I tried MP3 and WAV

WAV was too big, it only has 4MB memory. I used an MP3 @ 128 and its fine after about 200ms delay for the speaker to start playing.

Door buzzers and such are one of the first things I remove and throw away. I know when the lights are on, I know when the door is open. I'll put my seatbelt on when I damned well feel like it and that won't be every time I move my vehicle 20 feet in my driveway, and I refuse to have my car scream at me for it.
I disconnected mine around 2005.

Many thanks to the OP from 2 years ago for the nice instructions.
I finally finished mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ArvVq4lPwM

The speaker is a little quiet, but it's all good.

A man after me own heart. Disconnecting those buzzers gives me great joy.

A reminder that your lights are on would be one acceptable reason to put a buzz on my reality. Great idea to sub in a tune, I'll look into it someday.
