Burned my finger on fuse 3, '87 300D sedan

Right running lights out, tried to replace fuse 3 with lights on. Dang thing burned my finger.

Obviously a short. What are "control elements" listed as powered on circuit 3?

Anybody found a chronic problem with this circuit?

Definitely burned my finger on one of those fuses. Fusible wire in the open can be dangerous. I think I may have replaced a fuse that was on a problem circuit or just bumped the wrong thing at the wrong time.
Ouch.

What about the "headlight cleaning system"?

I did notice that one headlight wiper is stuck in the up position. Any way to unplug the headlight wiper system?
