Wastegate hose for OM603? (300SDL)
It looks like the part number in the Mercedes EPC is wrong (the diagram shows the right part, but the part number is for a different hose that is too short). Does anyone know the correct part number, or if its the same as the OM617 one? It is not this one even though that is the part number they list. (PN 000 098 16 83)

Fuel or vacuum hose works great and sure doesn't cost $37.50. Measure the barb and go buy a foot or so of the right size.

Your going to have issues using anything other than the silicone rubber hose for that turbo wastegate app.
Silicone or VLRUB whatever that is.Y The dealer sells the hose for a OM617 turbo for $13 and change. IMHO its worth it. the sharp bend and heat load will make a non silicone hose toast IF you can get it installed in the first place. My '85 300Dt uses p/n 000-098-07-83 should be the same for all 123 turbos. DDH

He's not dealing with a 123, nor a 617. This is a different setup. The wastegate actuator is a separate part on this turbo and has a relatively gentle curve to the hose. A piece of quality rubber hose works fine.
