2005 E320 CDI power steering pump part number?

I have scoured the www and can't find the part number for the power steering pump for a 2005 E320 CDI with the OM648.961. I have looked at our sponsors site, the place in AZ, FPC, and ebay. Of course ebay says A0054660301 will fit, but I am not so sure. The normal MB parts sources don't even have a part available. What gives? Maybe I am missing something here. It could be that this engine does not have a power steering pump! Anyone know the CORRECT part number for this part?
No listing for a power steering pump

Don't forget to grease the screw and threads on the spring compressor.

They seem to be drying up though. Buy two.

I am finding so much conflicting info on this pump. I don't know why the ebay listing says it will fit, but every other site can't confirm that part will fit. A user here asked me to send him the VIN, and I think that is the best thing to do.

I didn't look for rebuild kits but don't hold much hope to find those. Don't those pumps vary the turning effort based on car speed? How many miles on the car or was it damaged otherwise?

The pump is just making a LOT of noise. It is working fine, just really noisy. The car has over 200k miles. Not sure if it is the original pump or not.

Had a w210 with a noisy ps pump and asked the dealer for a bottle of lubroco? They told me just to change the fluid which I did and that complerely fixed the problem. I wasn't super loud but noticable and irritating and I would have never thought that would fix the problem. I also have a 05 cdi with 240 km that Is quiet but is on my list to change before the cold hits.

I recently had an issue with the PS pump in my '2000 E320 at 123K miles.
Darned thing was making a lot of noise like grrrrrrt, grrrrrrt when it warmed up and you turned the steering wheel.
A rack and pinion should be smooth and quiet!

I tried replacing the fluid. I sucked it out and replaced it with OE fluid then I added a can of some Nano additive, which was a waste of money it didn't help at all.
If it were my W123 or W124 car I could have DIY in under an hour.
Unfortunately the W210 threw me a curve, I couldn't figure out how to detach the reservoir and I didn't find a filter in there either so I let someone with the experience change it using one off a low mileage wreck.
I know, that was taking a gamble but it worked fine!

Further proof that MB parts are now made to last only a little beyond the warranty period.

I am going on memory but isn't the fluid reservoir replaceable? It has a filter in it that can plug and cause issues. Replace reservoir and o-ring on back.
