95 E300D, where is the best place to send injectors for test/rework.

Due to recent comments I've read about injectors being checked periodically for pop pressure and spray pattern. This seems to be needed to keep the performance optimum and to reduce the chance of damage to the glow plugs, pistons, and combustion pre-chambers.

Where is the best place to send them for that service including replacing the tips and heat shields?

Are Monark parts from Germany still the better nozzles and heat shields to use?

(214) 350-6787 call this guy, he's a classic Mercedes specialist in Dallas. He should know. I know he has injector testers.

Multiple sets of IDI injectors done for me in the past, great service at a fair price.

Get your own heat shields from the dealer or local auto parts store. Mark can work with you on nozzles, you can BYO nozzles or he will source for you. I would trust Mark’s guidance on the nozzles, lots of inferior crap out there.
