Mercedes w123 Ignition wiring help

Hey guys I ran into a problem while replacing my headlight switch where I forgot to disconnect my battery (I know what a rookie mistake) when working on it. What I did not notice was that one of the wires going to the ignition switch were exposed and when i put the key to roll up my windows the wires that run to the ignition caught on fire. Obviously i went into panic mode and I quickly patted the fire out with my hands, also probably not the best thing to do but I didn’t want to risk anything else getting damaged. After the fire was out I noticed that the exposed wire had split into two and I’ve been trying to find the name of the part that has all the wires that go to the ignition but no luck so far.

Post W123 Wiring Woes

Post where you're located and someone will tell you where to go for parts and likely what to do in close detail as well .

If you're near any Pick A Part typ yards that's where I'd begin although if the plastic part of your switch is yellow. it's close to failure point so best to buy a new one .
