E320 Bluetec Exhaust Diagram
I need to buy the DPF for my 2008 E320 Bluetec and I got these diagrams to make the purchase by phone a little easier.
In these Mercedes exhaust system diagrams, which of them is the DPF listed? What item number is the DPF? Why one diagram has OM642 and the other has OM642+474? I called one MB dealer to ask it but he was not much sure. I got even more confused when he told me the price. He said: $ 1500.00 for new part and $ 347.00 for re manufactured. https://www.ilcats.ru/mercedes/?function=getParts&class=1&catalog=65H&aggtype=FG&model=211029&group=49&subgroup=222&imageNo=1&language=en

Under the hood you will have a sticker that has a bunch of numbers on it.
It's on the inside of the hood lid on the passenger side. Check the sticker and see if 474 is one of the numbers. These are the option codes. That will tell you if you need the +474 type filter or not. Another way to tell: The 474 filter has a set of 1/4 inch fittings leading to hoses to a differential pressure sensor mounted to the body of the car. This is in addition to the electrical sensors in the can. If you just have the filter can with the electrical sensors then you have the non-474 version. My 2008 ML has the -474 version My 2008 E320 does not

Checking on internet, this part number is for catalytic converter and the location of the part on the diagram is number 4. The diagram based on my E320 VIN it is part number 450. The MB diagram from I got it is: B49222000008. Look on OM642+474 Mercedes Benz dealers will not give me their part number but they said that the part number 450 is the one for my car. Can you confirm that please? Thanks

In looking at that diagram the part marked "450" is the DPF. Which should be part: 211-490-07-81-80
