Amazing old diesel
Back in canada and in self isolation. 85 300D has been stored for 3 months. Connected battery, glowplugged once, turned key and started immediately!. Took her for a spin and the old girl still runs just great. 🥰

Such great cars. In this time of things getting all sideways I feel secure getting into my 85 and driving into town on a grocery run. I know I can count on the old girl to get me in and out of the pandemic zone.

I have had diesels that have been sitting for 10 or more years fire right up. I have had other ones that have sat less time take a while to get going.

This is why I love having a diesel for my classic car. It can be tucked away in the garage all winter then start right up whenever I'm ready to bring it out.
