Flex Disc Bolts

Hi all, Going to be replacing my driveshaft center bearing soon and since I will be removing the flex disc bolts to loosen the driveshaft, I reckon I should replace the bolts as I have heard they are on time use only.

Questions: Are they one time use only? Can I just order the bolts, and if so, can someone give me a link to where I can order them? If necessary, can I go to the hardware store and find suitable replacements?

Many thanks!

Glenn

Mother Benz has a substantial interest in flogging any parts she can get away with.
The suggestion that those bolts are "one-time" is utter nonsense.
If the elastic stop nuts seem loose, replace them.

It is the Nuts. I reused the Nuts and Blots using Loctite on the threads.

On W123's they are sometimes sold in a kit with new bolts. Some kits have bolts with Allen head sockets in them. I prefer the normal hex heads so I reused the bolts.

The Lemforders I used when I changed mine were made in Germany and reasonably priced. Note I don't know if the ones in the attached picture are the ones I used so recheck the part number.
Notice that the kit comes with allen head bolts.

Every time I buy flex disks they come with new bolts.
BTW old bolts make excellent shear pins for a bush hog.

I reuse them with loctite all the time too unless I am replacing flex disc with a new one that came with New bolts.
