Motor mount pictures
In looking at oil cooler lines, noticed motor mount doesn't look thatgreat. What do you think?
Pics from different angles below.

I might try using epoxy on mine, I will mix it,pour or inject, let it sit for a week.

Tested mounts today. Watched engine while wife applied brakes and throttle in Fwd and Rev. It rocks quite a bit both ways But have nothing to compare with.
Engine off, fan sits close to center of shroud. Can't see how upper oil cooler hose could get near PS belt as some have warned. Maybe they meant the AC belt (which I no longer have)

They need to be replaced.

Your motor mounts are toast. Time to replace them. You might want to look at the transmission mount also.

x3.
The dead giveaway (among other things) is the v shaped separation in the rubber. |

I’m they look cracked and potentially shifted to the side. Not good. Also looks like the heat shields are missing.
Get new lemfoerder mounts. Show a pic of a new vs old side by side when they come...

New mounts are ordered. Not Lemfoerder. These are from Rein Automotive (Same company as CRP/Contitech) It is hard to keep track these days , most come from China anyway. I have used Rein for other stuff without any problems. I will see if my local shop can install these and the cooler lines at same time. I am opting out of heavy lifting jobs

The cheapo mounts fail pretty fast on the OM617, the MB mounts will be typically produced to a higher standard.

If I remember right when the motor mounts go, the engine drops enough that the steel oil line begins to rub and eventually wears a hole in it.

Ya I'm absolutely with you when it comes to not paying $120 for genuine mbz when u can buy knock offs for 5 times cheaper but I would of at least got the lemforders for $20 from autohouz.
Lol sorry not trying to make u get any buyers remorse I've also used rein and they seem to work fine.

I have no remorse. Except I had to pay too much in Canada vs usa
According to PP CEO, a lot of Rein stuff is actually reboxed OE stuff. Anyway, for the little my car gets used, I dont think the engine will fall out

Does the mount for the 300D interchange with the mount for the 240D?
I'm finding Lemfoerder 123-241-30-13 for the W123 300D all over the web, but NOBODY has anything but Uro or genuine MB for the 240D.
