W123 Paint...

W123 I am swapping out two doors and need 1 pint of Orient Red 501 (u).

The doors have been removed/stripped and primed. I have clear-coat.

Where do you purchase your base-coat from???

Thanks in advance!!!

Most good size communities have an automotive paint store. Provide your paint code to the store and they can mix any amount of base coat you need.

I used Jerry's Paint. They had me take off fuel fill door and give to them
to match the paint to. It was a perfect match that way.
Your paint has changed over the past 40 years.

If the rest of your car has original paint, forget clear-coat and buy a pint of single stage paint. Single-stage and 2-stage paint will never match exactly. PPG is nation-wide I believe. They had the correct single-stage for my 77 W123 by paint code, so I just needed then to find a painter who knew how to do single-stage.

Agreed. If the original paint is single stage, don't wast time with a clear coat.
