throttle part
An acquaintance has a 1984 Euro W123 non-turbo, automatic 300D sedan.
Near the valve-cover is a tab with a hole in it attached to the throttle-shaft. In this hole is resting the bead on the end of the throttle cable. For now, this bead is snagged on the edge of the hole so the throttle linkage is still working. But there is supposed to be a little round plastic or nylon collar about 10mm diameter to secure the cable in the hole. Anyone know if this is still availible, who has it, or is it a dealer-only part, or it's something I'll need to fabricate? For the moment, the car is not here, so I can't take photos or supply a VIN. Thanks, Mark D.

I just bought euro non turbo for parts. I will look today and post a few pictures to make sure we are talking about the same thing.
