W123 marker lights

Hello everyone, since I plan to repaint my benz one day this year I planned to also buy new headlight bezels and side markers to make the front end of the vehicle look brand new out of the factory and it would look amazing while driving down the road. However, you can only buy the headlight bezels and not brand new side markers (blinkers) is there any way to restore the old faded lenses to make them look brand new, or any good aftermarket replacements? because I've searched for hours and could not find anything.

I bought my clear side lenses on ebay, personally, I like them better than the orange.

Post Front Marker Lenses

They're out there, I have some European ones new in boxes, they use the early style bulb holder that's ovoid shaped .

The European ones are a darker shade of amber than the U.S.A. ones .

I use and really like Meguiar's Plasti-X for cleaning up old plastic lenses, you need to wash the lens first to remove any traces of dirt / grit / whatever and the medium used it critical ~ I use lens papers when I have them or plain old Scot tissue , non quilted .

@vwnate1 are there any write-ups on how to restore the marker lenses? also, could you go into a little more detail or provide some pictures as to how they look once they are cleaned up I'm very curious as to the result.

@t walgamuth thanks for the offer but I already found a good pair online after searching for awhile. Im excited to see how the front end of the car will look with new bezels and turn signals.

They will make it look sharp. I still love the tight, conservative design of the 123. Nothing flashy (like fins) but all refined and all in its place.

Thumbs up Balanced & Conservative Design

Yep ;

That's it ~ I looked at many different year & model Mercedes (in Los Angeles Mercedes old or new are like Toyotas) and am well hooked on the W123 chassis .

I just tried to upload a photo of an unpolished lens, I can't, sorry .

Others are allowed to post HUGE files but not me, screw it .
